About us — since 2020

About SalesView

Since 2020 we have gone from putting a point of sale in a sales agent’s pocket to building the technology that runs the warehouse behind them.

Founded in 2020

SalesView was started in 2020 by technology people from SAP, Amazon, and Accenture — engineers and consultants who had spent their careers building enterprise systems and wanted that capability within reach of distributors.

Enterprise practice, distributor scale

We brought forward the practices that work in large retail, distribution, and logistics operations, and left behind the overhead that makes them unaffordable for everyone else.

Where we started

A mobile point of sale for field sales teams: offline invoicing, promotions, territory analytics, and dashboards for the people running the routes.

Where we are now

Warehouse management, work execution, and AI project coordination, brought together into one suite that shares accounts and data.

Research and AI

We have since moved into advanced research — RFID, computer vision, robotics, and applied AI — and fold what proves out back into the products rather than treating it as a bolt-on.

Where we are going

Warehouses that largely run themselves, through research applied to real distribution networks rather than a lab floor.

How we build

We ship what solves a real operational problem first, and describe our research as research. We would rather under-promise on an SLA than miss one.

Who we build for

Distributors, wholesalers, and logistics operators who move physical goods and cannot afford guesswork about where those goods are.

Where we work

Deployed across North America, Europe, and Africa.

Since 2020 the suite has gone into field sales, warehouse, and distribution operations on three continents. A sample of where the products run today:
